More than just a place ...

Our spaces are more than just places to train.

They’re intentionally designed spaces for connection, growth and discovery.

A place to try things out, ask questions, laugh, practice with focus and grow together!

.

We see a space as more than a physical setting — it’s an atmosphere.

A space that offers safety while leaving room for freedom,

where trust and respectful connection go hand in hand.

A place where we learn more than rope techniques — a place where meaningful connections happen!

Our Studio:

In the rush of everyday life, where every minute of the day is shaped by the need to plan as efficiently as possible, we want to create a deliberate counterpoint:

.

A space where you don’t have to perform.

A space where you don’t have to achieve.

A space where you can simply be.

.

Arrive. Breathe. Feel.

Our studio is designed to invite you to pause, take a breath and slow down.
When the noise of everyday life fades, there’s room for something else: for awareness, for presence, for yourself and the person with you. Warm materials, clean lines and soft transitions — everything is designed to create a sense of safety and openness at the same time.

>> Quiet the mind and the soul will speak <<

This is where real learning begins for us. Not just techniques, not just steps — but mindful discovery and experience!

.

More than a workshop space. Our spaces are not just places to learn, but also places to connect. They bring together people who are curious, who want to grow, who enjoy playing and discovering themselves anew. We want to create connection: with yourself, with the person you’re with, and with the present moment.

.

We invite you to explore and experiment.

  • Be curious.
  • Learn new techniques.
  • And explore yourself in a supportive, safe space.

.

Our studio is more than four walls! It’s a container for exploration. A space that resonates with growth. A place where intensity and calm can exist side by side. Here, your curiosity can flourish, whatever experiences or roles you bring with you.

.

A thoughtfully held space for exploration, growth and connection.
And above all: a space for you, for YOURSELF and for ALL OF YOU!

The heart of our community - ZENDO Schwieberdingen

In summer 2024, we made our dream of having our own studio and school come true. We worked hard to create a unique and inspiring learning environment where people can meet, explore, and practise, learn, and perfect the art of rope bondage. Bright, spacious, and flexible, it’s the perfect setting for our courses, workshops, group training sessions, and events.

Our studio "ZENDO" in Schwieberdingen is the central hub for everything we offer and for our community, which now extends beyond national borders.

High ceilings, clean lines, and flexible training areas create space for movement, technique, and flow. At the same time, the open layout creates a welcoming atmosphere where conversation comes naturally: between beginners and experienced practitioners, practice partners, and the worlds of technique and creativity.

Here, we learn, observe, give feedback, and inspire one another.

This is where connection, trust, and community grow.

The studio is designed to make room for both focused practice and playful experimentation. Different training zones let you practise alongside others, get feedback, or step away when you need to concentrate.

It’s our anchor point—professionally and personally.

ZENDO -  a vibrant space for mindful connection and personal growth

Our Zendo is a space for experience and connection in a sex-positive context and beyond. It’s intentionally open to ideas from related disciplines such as tantra, yoga, and other body- and awareness-based practices. What connects all these paths is a shared approach: presence, body awareness, connection—and the freedom to be yourself.

This is a living space, shaped by the people who use it. It grows through sharing, practising together, and ongoing development. Together, we create an inclusive environment where everyone feels seen, respected, and valued.

.

At the same time, our Zendo is a space for responsible education—especially around kinky or higher-risk practices. Freely available online content is often incomplete, oversimplified, or misleading. We offer a well-founded, safe, practical alternative: a setting where questions are welcome, reflection is encouraged, and personal development is supported. For us, quality, mindfulness, and experience aren’t goals for some time in the future—they’re part of everyday practice.

🛡️Our principles & values

Our spaces are places for learning, exploration and mindful connection, shaped as a brave space. We don’t promise a conflict-free environment, but a thoughtful one where people can feel safe enough to grow, try things out and connect with one another.

We all share responsibility—for ourselves, our boundaries and treating one another with respect.

We welcome and celebrate people of all backgrounds, identities and experiences. What matters is the attitude we bring to sharing this space. Respect, mindfulness and consent are the foundation of our community— regardless of gender, age, body shape, sexual orientation or personal circumstances.

Our spaces come alive through the people who enter them. Their curiosity. Their openness. Their trust.

.

What matters to us:

  • 🌈 Queer- and trans-friendly
All genders, identities and forms of expression are welcome. We respect people’s pronouns and chosen names.
    (e.g. gender-neutral bathrooms)
  • 🧠 Neurodiversity-aware
Clear structure, transparent processes, breaks and the opportunity to learn at your own pace are a given for us. (For example, a dedicated early arrival time during our
RopeExchange at the ZENDO Rope Meetup.)
  • 🤝 Consent is an ongoing process
Every exercise is optional, and consent isn’t a one-time thing: it’s given in the moment and can change at any time. “No,” “Stop,” or even hesitation always takes priority. You can state, change or reset your boundaries at any time—without having to explain.
  • 🔗 Connection and communication before technique—listen to your heart
Technique, knowledge and tricks are tools. Genuine connection and trust grow through attention, presence and honest communication.
  • 🪢 Safety on every level
Physical, emotional and communicative safety come first. We work responsibly, with trauma awareness and without pressure to perform.
  • 🙅 Personal responsibility and self-awareness — the roots of safety
Everyone is responsible for their own boundaries and needs.
You decide what feels right for you. Our spaces provide support, but your growth and boundaries are your compass.
  • 💬 Mindfulness with one another—respectful language and behaviour
We treat each other with respect and appreciation, without judgement. Different experiences, paths and forms of expression can coexist. Discriminatory, racist, abusive or demeaning behaviour has no place in our space.
  • 🌵Mistakes happen—taking responsibility is what matters
When people meet, uncertainty can arise.
Uncertainty and learning go hand in hand. Mistakes are okay —what matters is dealing with them mindfully and responsibly. We do not tolerate boundary violations or ignoring signals. .
  • 🔄 Roles without expectations
There are no fixed roles. Everyone decides for themselves which role(s) they want to take on—or whether to take on any at all.
  • 🫂 Here to listen and provide support
If you feel unsure, you can reach out to us for support at any time.
Talk to us anytime—we’ll take you seriously.

.

If you have specific needs, concerns or questions, please feel free to talk to us beforehand. We’ll do our best to make the space as accessible and comfortable as possible.

✨ You don’t have to prove anything. You can simply be here.

DISCLAIMER: Inclusion is not a passing trend for us, but a question of values. We expect our values to be shared or at least respected. Our community is built on these values—if you can’t identify with them or support them, we’re probably not the right fit for you. We therefore do not tolerate misogynistic, racist, queerphobic, ableist or classist comments or behaviour. Thank you to everyone who helps shape this space with care!

I love the studio. There’s so much care in this space—it’s bright, open, and so welcoming. I can leave everyday life at the door and feel at home right away.

Being at ZENDO always feels like a genuine coming together.  The encounters here are intense yet easygoing. I enjoy the connections that form here. You learn not only techniques, but also from each other and together.

HomeDOJO - a space for focus and depth:   .

Our dojo in our private home in Benningen am Neckar is where it all began. Before our studio and school were established, we taught here for several years, guided students, gained experience, developed our concepts, and shaped our own approach to teaching.

.

To this day, this space remains smaller, more personal, and quieter. During the week we offer private lessons here—with personal attention, tailored to you.

The atmosphere is intentionally calm and uncluttered. Free from distractions and group dynamics, this is a safe space where there’s room for questions, where you can voice any uncertainties, and explore techniques in depth. Here, you can focus fully on yourself and your partner.

.

A space where learning becomes personal.

Paw-sitive Vibes

When you visit our DOJO or ZENDO, you’ll be greeted by our "Junior Barketing and Wooffice Manager".

Don’t worry, the Wuffinator is happy to keep a respectful distance.

Any allergens present are reduced or eliminated with an air purifier.
